A Springfield tradition! Famous for their horseshoes!! We had a couple drinks and an appetizer and had a great time with the best bartender in town, Tracy Mac! If ya get a chance to stop in for dinner, I would suggest the chicken shoe, breaded! Might clog your arteries, but it will be amazing.

The place was great! It was packed but they were all very nice and patient. The food came out pretty fast and was all good. The fried oysters were delicious. I can't wait to go back again and try one of their horseshoes!

Very, very good. Good service, good food, great beer on tap. I've not found Smithwicks ale on tap many places. Good, large shepherds pie and a choice of catfish or walleye for fish n chips. And the walleye was cheaper!!. Good for families but realize the servings are generous so be hungry

While working in Springfield the guys kept telling me that I needed to be sure to go D'Arcy's Pint for a "horseshoe". Everyone said they were the best in town. Finally went this evening. Ordered the hamburger shoe. The waitress was gone maybe a minute and a half and was back with my "shoe". I love cheese and fries and burgers but this was just a mess on a plate. The burger was way overcooked and not even hot. The fries were only hot because of the cheese sauce. The cheese was good and thick and creamy though. It was like they may sell so many they pre- cook the burgers and fries and as soon as the order comes in, they throw it on the plate and pour the hot cheese over it. Not impressed, at all. Won't have another if this was "the best shoe in town". I will, however, try something else at D'Arcy's Pint.

And iconic place you have to visit on vacation. I have drove two hours just to eat a horse shoe here and then drove two hours back home. You will forever get the horse shoe craving. Big establishment with lots of seating and they still get packed sometimes. I have never once had bad service.
